About

dekker photography about image with beth photographing a trash the dress shoot in water in tahoe

With an art degree from Southern Oregon University in photography and computer arts, I began shooting professionally in 2002.

My first assistant job was for a family and wedding photographer that shot families and weddings. This introduced me to the wonderful world of portrait photography.

I began working for Dekker Photography in 2003, giving me the chance to work under an internationally recognized and award winning wedding and portrait photographer.

He taught me to hone my skills and aesthetics into the photographer I am today.

When my mentor retired in 2005, I had the opportunity to take over Dekker Photography and help it grow over the years into a studio that produces modern, cutting edge and vibrant photography.

I have been privileged to travel around the world photographing families and events.

And having fun along the way!

With a hard working and energetic staff behind me, I have a team that works to create an enjoyable and memorable experience from start to finish for our clients.
