Mike & Julia had friends and family travel from all over the world to Sayulita Mexico to help them celebrate their wedding at beautiful Villa Amor. Planning by Karen Ruezga and amazing flowers by Carmen from Flor Amor helped to create a perfect day for this gorgeous bride and groom.
Congratulations Julia & Mike!!
Last month was time for Alicia & Emmanuel to head down to Sayulita, Mexico for their destination wedding!
Alicia looked absolutely stunning in her custom wedding dress, and Emmanuel was very handsome in his cool blue suit.
The day was absolutely perfect, from the super-cute flower girls to the chandelier hanging from the arch during the ceremony.
The wedding was at the beautiful Don Pedros Palapa, the perfect destination wedding venue, and was planned and designed by the always amazing Yazmin from Sea of Dreams Weddings
Congrats Alicia & Emmanuel!!
Last month Will and Shannon arrived in sunny Sayulita to show all their friends and family an amazing time and tie the knot! The wedding took place at one of my favorite places the Palapa at Don Pedros, which has a stunning view of Sayulita for everybody to enjoy. Yazmin at Sea of Dreams weddings helped create a beautiful atmosphere for the wedding, the colors and flowers that the couple chose really showed off the beauty of Mexico. Shannon looked simply amazing in her dress and Will wasn’t too shabby either! They were a super relaxed and fun group to shoot and work with, and they definitely knew how to party!
Congrats Will & Shannon!
Candy and Mike left cold Canada to come to sunny Mexico for their intimate wedding at the Iberostar, a beautiful all inclusive resort in Litibu. One of the things I love about shooting small destination weddings is the amazing vibe it creates when everybody feels such a part of the big day. Mike and Candy are a really fun, non traditional couple and wanted to make sure that we captured that in their photos, so we had a great time playing around on the beach after the ceremony and got some great shots!
Congrats Mike and Candy!!
We had so much fun at Clarion Alley with the Kinoshita Family! Kyle and Emma were the cutest little models.
Earlier this week The Vermillion family took a day trip to Sayulita for a fun photo shoot. Vivian is turning two during their trip, so of course her mom brought along a special hat for her! And Luke was beating out a good rhythm on his new drum as we explored town!
Last week the Logan family came down to Sayulita for a quick vacation and we met up for a fun family session! Their little one Mateo was such a cutie, and he was so easy to take great photos of! It was a beautiful day, with a beautiful family!
A few weeks ago I got a very interesting phone call. Jeff and Angela were coming to Sayulita for a vacation and he was planning on proposing at the beginning of the trip. My first thoughts were that he wanted me to shoot the proposal, boy was I wrong! LOL. He told me that he wanted to propose, and then tell her that if she wanted to elope he had everything set up for them to get married in Mexico. I knew he was going to pop the question on a Monday evening, and I got an email later that night telling me that she said yes, to both the engagement and the wedding! I met this amazing couple the next evening and then spent the next few days helping them put together a wedding that was to take place in just a few days! Of course being a girl, my first thought was the dress 🙂 We found the absolute perfect dress for Angela, and she looked stunning on her wedding day (and Jeff didn’t look to bad himself!) Ella Leyva created wedding perfect hair for the bride and Mireya at Flor Mimo designed a bright and vibrant bouquet. We roamed around town getting some beautiful photos of the couple, and then headed to an amazing very private beach for the ceremony. My friend Gabbi officiated, and he was the perfect choice for the role for this fun and funky couple! I have shot hundreds of weddings over the years, but this one was really special to be able to be a part of. Love you guys!
Congratulations Angela & Jeff 🙂
Heidi, Bobby and Ella are the cutest family! Ella was so smiley and adorable during the entire shoot. Just look at those cheeks!!
A couple weeks ago family and friends flew down to sunny Sayulita Mexico to celebrate Karissa and Paul’s fun beach wedding. They had a great turnout of people coming from all over, and the day flowed beautifully (even with their last minute approach to planning! LOL) Karissa looked stunning in her dress, and since the name of the dress happened to be the name of the house they were staying in down here it appeared to be fate! They had a touching ceremony on the beach and then moved on to the party at La Terrazola. The flowers for the reception and the ceremony were perfect and done by the always wonderful Mirella at Flor Mimo. And I have to say, Paul’s brother gave one of the funniest speeches I have ever heard at a wedding (and I have heard a lot!!) This was a great group of people and a blast to photography.
Congrats Karissa & Paul!!
