With an art degree from Southern Oregon University in photography and computer arts, I began shooting professionally in 2002. My first assistant job was for a photographer who shot families and weddings. This was my introduction to the wonderful world of portrait photography.
I began working for Dekker Photography in 2003. This was my chance to work under an internationally recognized and award-winning wedding and portrait photographer. He taught me to hone my skills and aesthetics into the photographer I am today.
When my mentor retired in 2005, I had the amazing opportunity to take over Dekker Photography and help it grow over the years into a studio that produces modern, cutting edge and vibrant photography.
I approach each job with the goal to capture the unique feel and personality of each client. I have been privileged to travel around the world photographing different families and events, creating images in an original, artistic, and natural way.
